About Missy D

Missy D came to life because I am a lover of the outdoors, but have learnt from experience that your skin ages much faster from sun damage. I was always searching for stylish, glamorous, sun-smart swimwear - but never found anything that made me feel as good as a bikini or one piece. I always felt like I was compromising on style to be sun-smart. Until now.

Having a background in the fashion industry, styling, merchandising and retail – as well as a natural flare for design - has given me the inspiration and knowledge to create some stylishly unique swimwear that help fill a gaping hole in the market and provide some much needed elegant solutions.

I spent years searching for high quality fabrics, zippers and components. I wanted to create timeless and stylish swimwear that was both flattering and long lasting.
